#Inktober Week 2 – My Drawings

I’m enjoying Inktober – it’s challenging and is stretching me.
Here are the second week drawings for the prompt words.

Crooked – I struggled with this and it prompted lots of though of the representation of women as witches.
‘Screech’ made me think of a car
‘Screech’ Inktober Prompt Word
Gigantic made me think of the huge cumulus clouds as we arrived into the Mexican airspace on the Thomson Boeing Dreamliner
Run made me think of the atmospheric rain at Chichen Itza
‘Shattered’ explored illustrating the ‘glass ceiling’ to reach the boardroom
Day 13 – ‘Teeming’ With Life – my favourite drawing so far. #Inktober Day 13 – Teeming With Life – I wished to have a positive response to today’s prompt word so am representing life – influenced by Egypt, Mexico and a whale from New Zealand. I finished the artwork then an iguana appeared by the path and stayed still, enabling me to study his shape – almost like he wanted me to add him to my drawing… so I did.
Be Fierce To Face Your Fears – #inktober2017 Day 14 – for today’s prompt word ‘Fierce’.
