Inktober – Week 2

Already it’s week two of #Inktober

#Inktober day 8 prompt is frail.

I feel the most important message for this prompt is to reduce our impact on the planet 🌍

Inktober prompt “Swing” immediately made me think of Sia’s track Chandelier, which became my motivating and emotive anthem after I blew my knee.

I felt so grounded by the injury and just wanted to get off the ground and literally swing from a chandelier.

Pattern is the next prompt for #inktober Featuring some of my favourite things.

Inktober day 11 prompt is Snow. Here’s a snowflake created with skis, ski poles, boots and goggles. Bringing together snow and how we love to use it most.

Inktober day 12 prompt Dragon made me think of my little buddy’s fav toy.

Day 13 #inktober prompt Ash had to be my big brother.

Inktober day 14 prompt is Overgrown. It’s a comment on the way that people say that they need to move home as they don’t have room for all their stuff.

#inktober2019 day 15 prompt word was legend which made me think of Florence Nightingale for her groundbreaking work. Enjoyed a visit to the Florence Nightingale Museum earlier this year.

Tried this in two different styles.

Inktober Day 16 prompt Wild has to be about letting wild animals be wild and have space to roam. I love this scene as it would never happen in a zoo. The zebra is bucking the lion.

I also created this tennis club event image for promotional use on social media…

So, onto Week 3!

Thanks for taking the time to see my work.
